Tesla CEO Elon Musk called out the House Jan. 6 Committee for “misleading the public” in light of exculpatory footage from the Capitol building released Monday by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.

“Besides misleading the public, they withheld evidence for partisan political reasons that sent people to prison for far more serious crimes than they committed,” Musk tweeted Tuesday.

“That is deeply wrong, legally and morally,” he added.

The footage Carlson showed revealed the Democrat-led House Committee, which included RINO Reps. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), and mainstream media lied on several fronts about what transpired in and around the Capitol building on January 6, 2021.

  • Lied about “Q Anon Shaman” Jacob Chansley
  • Lied about how Officer Brian Sicknick died
  • Lied about Ray Epps being a credible witness
  • Lied about Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Ark.) running away

“The footage does not show an insurrection or a riot in progress,” Carlson said. “Taken as a whole, the video record does not support the claim that Jan. 6 was an insurrection. In fact, it demolishes that claim. And that’s exactly why the Democratic Party and its allies in the media prevented you from seeing it.”

“By controlling the images you are allowed to view from Jan. 6, they controlled how the public understood that day. They could lie about what happened and you would never know the difference.”

Carlson is expected to deliver more footage this week which contradicts the “insurrection” narrative constructed by the House Committee about January 6 over the last two years.
