The Security Service of Georgia (SSG) has foiled Ukraine’s big plan to attack Russia. Georgian officials said they intercepted Ukrainian explosives being sent to Russia. They claimed bombs were intended to be transported to the southwestern Russian city of Voronezh. Russian investigators in October 2022 named a similar route allegedly taken to deliver explosives and attack the Moscow-built Crimean Bridge that month. The move by Russia’s neighbour, Georgia, has saved the country from any fresh attack.
