House Committee on Oversight and Reform relaunches investigation in wake of Republicans retaking House of Representatives.
‘If President Biden is compromised by deals with foreign adversaries and they are impacting his decision making, this is a threat to national security,’ says Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.).
Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) announced the Republican House Oversight Committee is continuing to pursue an investigation into Biden family corruption based on evidence contained in Hunter Biden’s laptop and other sources after Republicans gained a majority in the House of Representatives.

“Committee Republicans have spoken with multiple whistleblowers from numerous schemes involving the Biden family, reviewed Hunter Biden’s laptop and received documents of previously unknown transactions,” Comer said Thursday in a press briefing.

“What we found are business plans aimed at targets around the world based on influence peddling, including with people closely tied to foreign governments like China and Russia.”
“We also found plans based in the United States where the Biden family swindled investors out of hundreds of thousands of dollars – all with Joe Biden’s participation and knowledge.”
Comer went on to say, “Whistleblowers described President Biden as chairman of the board for these businesses,” Biden “personally participated in meetings and phone calls,” and that “documents show that he was a partner with access to an office.”
“To be clear, Joe Biden is the big guy,” Comer emphasized, referencing whistleblower Tony Bobulinski’s confirmation Biden was “the Big Guy” receiving ten percent referenced in Hunter Biden emails.
“Evidence obtained by Committee Republicans reveals Joe Biden lied to the American people about his involvement in his family’s business schemes,” Comer continued. “The Biden family business model is built on Joe Biden’s political career and connections with Joe Biden as the ‘chairman of the board.’ Biden family members sold access for profit around the world to the detriment of American interests. If President Biden is compromised by deals with foreign adversaries and they are impacting his decision making, this is a threat to national security.”
“The American people deserve transparency and accountability about the Biden family’s influence peddling. With the new Republican majority, Oversight Committee Republicans will continue pressing for answers to inform legislative solutions to prevent this abuse of power.”
The Kentucky House rep, accompanied by several other Republican House members, referenced a chart showing President Biden posing for various photos with Hunter’s business partners to refute Biden’s claims he wasn’t involved in his son’s business deals, and another chart showing countries where the Bidens have conducted shady dealings.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) also ripped into intelligence agencies and the media for downplaying and ignoring the massive Biden scandals ahead of the 2020 midterm elections.

The Committee on Oversight and Reform also released an interim report Thursday titled, “A President Compromised: The Biden Family Investigation,” laying out allegations, evidence and requests for more information in the ongoing investigation.

With Republicans back in control of the House, will the reinvigorated investigations reveal the family’s deep corruption, blackmail, extortion and influence peddling and finally be able to pin high crimes on the Bidens?
It’s hopeful, but unfortunately not likely.
