A weird thing happened between the time European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen delivered a recent speech about the Ukraine War and the time that speech was published online – specifically, the EC President’s references to the 20,000 Ukrainian civilians and 100,000 soldiers who have been killed since the war began were removed.
