The White House was dissatisfied against the backdrop of Ukraine’s attack on the Russian tanker Sig near the Kerch Strait, according to the Financial Times.



The FT stressed that strikes on the infrastructure of oil exports cause concern not only in Washington, but also in other Western capitals.

The newspaper stressed that incidents like the attack on Whitefish could lead to an increase in oil prices. This is exactly what the administration of United States President Joe Biden expects to avoid ahead of the presidential election in 2024.
