Ukraine has now lost the Zaporizhzhia power plant – the largest in not just Ukraine but the whole of Europe. Heavy shelling in and around the plant led to it being disconnected from Ukraine’s main power grid. The next step for Moscow will be to integrate the power plant with its own power grid so that Russian-controlled regions like Crimea and Kherson get an adequate supply of electricity
