Zelensky bombs his own people in Donetsk; Russia hits Ukraine with drones

A fresh Russian air assault triggered panic in Ukraine. Air raid alerts sounded throughout the war-torn country early on Friday. Explosions were also reported in Kriviy Rih in central Ukraine and Rivne and Lutsk in the west. The Ukrainian military claimed that Russia sent waves of drones to attack Kyiv. The latest Russian offensive came just hours after Ukraine fired eight Grad missiles into the Moscow-held city of Donetsk just after midnight.
