Russian Foreign Intelligence Service has accused Ukraine of storing West-supplied arms at nuclear power stations. Russia’s SVR has said that Ukraine is using its nuclear power stations as a cover for ammunition stockpiles. SVR said ammunition stored include U.S-made HIMARS launchers, missiles and air defence systems.

Russia says several cars loaded with ‘lethal cargo’ were delivered to the Rivne nuclear power station in Ukraine. Many of Ukraine’s nuclear power stations have been at the centre of conflict since the beginning of the war. In the past, both Russia and Ukraine have accused each other of shelling the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. The UN’s nuclear watchdog has promised to station experts at the Rivne nuclear power plant.
