Dr. Marcus Papadopoulos: the strategic disaster at Bakhmut for Kiev’s forces

In this episode of CGTN’s The Heat, Dr Marcus Papadopoulos described Zelenski’s visit to London, Paris, and Brussels as an exercise in crude propaganda which has no bearing on the war in Ukraine.

However, what does have bearing, he said, is what is unfolding at Bakhmut, or Artyomovsk. According to Dr Marcus, tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers and their equipment have been consumed there which will enable the Russian Army not only to advance to western parts of Donetsk oblast but also to the oblasts of Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkov.

Further to that, Dr Marcus emphatically dispelled the myth that the “world is united against Russia”.
