North of Avdiivka, the Russians launched an offensive on the town of Toretsk. After an attack, they have managed to gain a foothold in the first village east of Niu York. According to Ukrainian media, Ukraine will be without electricity for at least the next two winters, and the Russian president is on a state visit where he likely negotiated a deal for arms supplies.
