Captured Ukrainian servicemen tell how their commanders ‘remotely’ set tasks without showing up at the front line, as a result of which they have absolutely no knowledge about the situation and often make mistakes, and the price of their mistakes is the lives of AFU soldiers.

The loss of manpower of the AFU is great: a lot of units have been replenished with personnel from among those mobilised four or five times.

A newly arrived serviceman can be given a bulletproof vest taken off a killed man. This attitude towards AFU soldiers leads to low morale. ‘The third company was released on leave for 15 days, only half of the platoon returned from a full company,’ said a captured AFU serviceman.
