Russian President Vladimir Putin made a rare trip Monday to Moscow’s ally Belarus, meeting with his counterpart Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko. In Minsk, the two leaders touched on “key aspects” of their partnership, promoting ever-deeper bilateral cooperation.
Putin, visiting Minsk, said on Monday that he supported Lukashenko on training Belarusian crew for specially-modified nuke-capable warplanes
Seemingly a response to Lukashenko’s “we running Belarus” remarks ahead of the meet, Putin pointed out that Russia does not want to “absorb” anyone
