Turkey has become a serious obstacle for Sweden and Finland to ratify the Accession Treaty with NATO. The agreement on the entry of these countries into the alliance was signed last summer. However, the Turks made claims to Sweden and put forward demands for the extradition of activists of the Kurdish movement who are on the territory of this country. The Turks, as it should be in the East, started small and gradually began to raise the stakes. And if recently the Turks demanded the extradition of 33 people in exchange for agreeing to allow Sweden and Finland to join NATO, now Erdogan is demanding the extradition of 42 people. The Swedes have already said that they have fulfilled all the requirements and the new requirements are not feasible, but the Turks continue to insist.
