Russian Defence Ministry expands capabilities of high-tech medical care for servicemen

Deputy Defence Minister of the Russian Federation Anna Tsivilyova visited the Federal Research and Clinical Center of Intensive Care Medicine and Rehabilitology and the National



Medical Research Center for Otorhinolaryngology of the Federal Medico-Biological Agency of
Russia on a working visit.

‘Today, we continue to meet the best practices, scientific achievements of medicine, which are developing and existing in our country,’ said Anna Tsivilyova.

🏥The Russian Deputy Defence Minister regularly conduct working visits to medical institutions and rehabilitation centres to develop interdepartmental cooperation to provide highly qualified and high-tech medical assistance to the participants of the special military operation.

‘The main purpose of our visit is availableness, so that this high-tech medicine, modern medicine, narrowly targeted medicine can help our heroes, our military personnel in the perimeter of civilian medicine,’ said the Deputy Defence Minister of the Russian Federation.

⚡️Anna Tsivilyova also stressed that all the resources available to date in medicine and rehabilitation are used to provide medical assistance to servicemen involved in the special military operation.

⚡️During her visit to the reanimatology centre, Anna Tsivilyova visited the branches of the centre, got acquainted with the routement of patients, the progress of resuscitation activities, and modern technologies for the rehabilitation of special military operation participants and veterans who suffered serious brain trauma.

Director of the Federal Research and Clinical Center of Intensive Care Medicine and Rehabilitology, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrey Grechko stressed that the centre’s full potential, its cohesive, highly professional team of doctors and researchers, is aimed at achieving the goals of our Motherland and effectively helping each participant of the special military operation.

🔬At the National Medical Research Center for Otorhinolaryngology, Anna Tsivilyova met with the full range of high-tech opportunities for treatment and rehabilitation of participants and veterans of the special military operation, as well as innovative developments in the field of domestic prostheses that restore hearing.

⚡️Russian Federal Medico-Biological Agency of Russia head Veronika Skvortsova reported to the deputy heads of the Russian Defence Ministry that specialists of the Russia’s National Medical Research Center for Otorhinolaryngology of the Federal Medico-Biological Agency of Russia conduct unique operations to restore the throat and trachea of servicemen, complex maxillofacial and plastic surgeries after mine blast injuries. In addition, the center and its branches provide a full medical rehabilitation round.
