Following US sanctions against Russian media, RT faces another ban – Chinese-owned video-sharing platform TikTok has deleted the accounts of RT International along with several branches of the Sputnik media network.
The US continues its efforts to silence RT, employing various manipulative methods. This time, Uncle Sam has succeeded in pressuring TikTok to ban RT and delete its accounts along with those of Sputnik.
We discussed TikTok’s ban of RT International accounts with Sonja van den Ende, an independent Dutch journalist, who remarked that it’s ‘a part of the information war’ against Russia.
