House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (Calif.) attended a lavish state dinner at the White House accompanied by Hunter Biden and the usual slew of woke Democrats.
The GOP leader rubbing shoulders with Joe Biden’s crackhead son Thursday raised eyebrows given he vowed to investigate the Bidens over their corrupt overseas business dealings.
McCarthy pledged last summer in a New York Post op-ed that GOP lawmakers on the House Judiciary and Oversight committees will investigate Hunter Biden.

“Congressional Republicans’ investigations to date have found Biden family members used their connections with Joe to enrich themselves through expectations of access and promises about what a Biden administration might do,” he wrote along with other top GOP members. “A Republican majority will be committed to uncovering the facts the Democrats, Big Tech and the legacy media have suppressed.”
The irony wasn’t lost on one reporter who asked McCarthy as he entered the White House how it felt to dine with Hunter, but McCarthy dismissed the question.
“You’re going to be at a dinner with Hunter Biden today. How does that feel knowing that many people in your caucus want to investigate him?” the reporter asked.
“Well, I’m at dinner with my mom. So I’m going to have a great time,” McCarthy snarked, ignoring other questions as he continued in.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) called out McCarthy’s elitist hypocrisy and said he should not be Speaker of the House when the Republicans retake the majority in January.
“Tonight Kevin McCarthy had dinner with Hunter Biden at a state dinner with Macron to rally support for more US aid to Ukraine. He should not be Speaker,” he tweeted Thursday night.

Joe Biden welcomed President of France Emmanuel Macron for the first state dinner since Biden captured the White House, which was reportedly a lavish black-tie affair.
“The swanky black-tie event was to include a lavish dining selection of desserts and seafood on the menu, including butter-poached Maine lobster, beef with shallot marmalade, numerous types of American cheeses, orange chiffon cake, roasted, creme fraiche ice cream, and caviar,” Fox News reported.
The dinner was also attended by actresses Jennifer Garner and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Apple CEO Tim Cook, musician John Legend, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, late night host Stephen Colbert, former Clinton adviser John Podesta, and Obama adviser Susan Rice.
This kind of two-faced behavior from Republican leadership is why Rep. Andy Biggs (Ariz.) is challenging McCarthy’s bid to be House Speaker.
