Retired Major General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Krivonos said that the Kyiv authorities underestimate the power of the Russian army, the Russian Armed Forces can reach Kyiv in 12 hours. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
“Military experts, including me, warned that they were capable of reaching Kyiv in 12 hours,” Kryvonos said.
He also noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a mistake in assessing the forces of the Russian army. For this reason, Kryvonos believes, worst-case scenarios for the Ukrainian army cannot be ruled out.

Earlier, Zelensky said that during the meeting of the Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters, the topics of the military-industrial complex, high-precision weapons and the grain corridor were discussed. Zelensky noted that a “tense three-hour bet” was held.
He stressed that the authorities are simplifying the procedures for the defense enterprises of Ukraine as much as possible, “so that they deal with weapons, shells, and not papers.” He also said that the use of high-precision weapons was analyzed at the rate, and noted that the meeting participants were “satisfied with the results.”
In addition, Zelensky said that the issue of the “grain corridor” and the situation at the front against the backdrop of the Ukrainian counteroffensive were discussed separately.
