Around Avdiivka, intense battles are raging in the surrounding villages as the Russians aim to expand their territorial control. Overnight, Ukrainian forces deployed several USV drones to strike at the Russian Black Sea Fleet base. Reports indicate that only a Russian speedboat was hit, but the attack demonstrates the Ukrainians’ ability to penetrate Russian defenses. In response to the U.S. statement that it would send troops to Ukraine if the defense line collapses, Russia announced nuclear tests. Subsequently, several Western countries have stated that they will not send their own troops to Ukraine.
