A fresh explosion near a ship in the Red Sea was reported on February 1. This came just hours after the US military announced that it had conducted an aerial bombing of a Houthi drone base, which included destruction of as many as 10 UAVs. A day earlier too, US forces had shot down a ballistic missile fired by the Houthis, as well as 3 “Iranian” drones flying near American warship USS Carney.
