The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Kirillov, spoke at a briefing of the Ministry of Defense about the consequences of using shells with depleted uranium.
On March 21, 2023, British Deputy Secretary of Defense Annabelle Goldie announced in the House of Lords of the British Parliament that the UK would transfer armor-piercing sub-caliber shells to Ukraine: “Along with providing Ukraine with Challenger-2 tanks, we will supply ammunition, including armor-piercing shells that contain depleted uranium” .
