NATO nation and Vladimir Putin’s ‘friend’ Hungary has warned that Ukraine’s efforts to fast track membership of the military bloc could spark a world war.

Hungary’s minister Gergely Gulyas also spoke about how it would be difficult for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to secure a European Union membership too if he doesn’t work on certain policies. His comments came as Russia continues its onslaught on Ukraine. In the past day, Russia reportedly shelled Kherson in south Ukraine 60 times.
