Hours after British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said “nothing is off the table” in terms of military aid for Ukraine, Russia was quick to issue a warning. Moscow threatened a “bloody harvest” in war escalation if the UK sent fighter jets to Kyiv.

In a strong statement, Moscow said Russia would find an appropriate response to any unfriendly steps taken by the British side. The warning came hours after UK PM Rishi Sunak rolled out the red carpet in London for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss weapon supply.

From London, the Ukrainian President travelled to Paris to discuss weapons assistance from France and Germany. Meanwhile, Russia has increased aggression on the battlefield since the West amplified its arms aid.
