‘Liberated’ Kherson suffers further Russian strikes | Odessa sent back into ‘Dark Age’ due to power cuts

Ukrainian officials said that Russian forces left booby traps across the city of Kherson when they departed the region a month ago. They have accused Russian troops of turning it into a ‘city of death’ as they discover mines and explosives across the region every day. Meanwhile, Russian troops are attacking Ukrainian positions from their new, dug-in positions across the Dnieper River. Ukrainian officials in Kherson say, at least 41 people have been killed in one month due to Russian attacks

Ukraine pounded the city of Melitopol with U.S.-made HIMARS rockets, claimed Russian-installed governor of Zaporizhzhia region. Visuals of large-scale destruction of the city went viral, with Russia claiming that a holiday camp was struck by Ukrainian forces. Meanwhile in Kherson, Ukrainian policemen are hunting for traitors, who helped Russian regime occupy the region. Russia is circulating Rouble as currency in Kherson and is all set to stop the use of Ukrainian Hryvnia currency in the city. Noble Peace Prize winners from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus have slammed Russian President Vladimir Putin for his ‘insane invasion.’

No electricity in the Ukrainian city of Odesa after a night-time drone attack by Russia. Officials stated critical infra including hospitals & maternity wards have access to power. A gateway for key exports, the Ukrainian economy relies heavily on Odesa. Odesa is around 70km from Transnistria, a tiny unrecognised Russian-speaking area that broke away from Moldova. Control over South Ukraine would open ‘another way to Transnistria’.
