A senior Russian diplomat did not discount the possibility that his country would use nuclear weapons in its conflict with Ukraine if provoked by NATO.
“It’s not the right thing to threaten Russia and to try to interfere so when you’re dealing with a nuclear power, of course, you have to calculate all the possible outcomes of your behaviour,” Dmitry Polyanskiy, Russia’s Deputy Ambassador to the UN told Sky News in an interview in New York.
