The German government has adopted a budget, cutting expenditure in many spheres except for one – defense. Berlin now plans to reach NATO’s 2% spending target via a special modernization fund of over $100 billion.



However, half of the money has already been designated for Washington, sparking outrage from a top German military industry executive.
